JOIN THE GANESHA PUJA ON FATHER'S DAY
In the Ganapati Atharvashirsa , which is an ancient Sanskrit Upanishadic text, there is a description of Lord Ganesha as the one true reality, Brahman. In addition, that text weaves in a description of Ganesha as He who resides in the root (mūlādhāra) chakra:
त्वं मूलाधार स्थितो॑सि नित्यम्
tvaṃ mūlādhāra stitho-si nityam
You reside eternally in the mūlādhāra chakra
Lord Ganesha sits on the nerves at the base of the spine and acts as a gatekeeper to the higher levels of consciousness. For, without His inner wisdom, spiritual seekers cannot be granted access to the sublime realizations inherent in Hindu Sanatana Dharma.
Residing in the root chakra, Ganesha is the closest God to the material plan of existence and the easiest for us to access. With his grace we are lifted out of the fear, insecurity, anxiety, and confusion that is so prevalent in the lower chakras.
He propels us to live a life in great harmony and peace with our surroundings. He is the Great Father who brings wisdom, stabilizes emotions, and moves us toward a dharmic lifestyle as he removes obstacles in our path.
It is important for every spiritual seeker on the path of Sanatana Dharma to develop a relationship with Lord Ganesha. For this reason we are having weekly Ganesha Puja's every Sunday at the Lalita Chandika Temple. Tomorrow's puja is extra special because it is Father's Day.
