Shree Maa Lights Up Yoga City (Yuba City)

Last weekend Shree Maa delighted the Lalita Chandika Temple with her darshan and the place lit up!

The weekend events began on Saturday afternoon with an awesome puja to Yoga City's new Lalita Devi mural.

Shree Maa and Swami Pranava established life to Lalita Devi and welcomed Her to the Lalita Chandika Temple and into our Hearts.

After puja, we performed a homa to Maha Lakshmi to the recitation of the Lakshmi Sahasranama.

The image of Lalita Devi in the background made the fire ceremony very special and most couldn't help but pull out their phones to grab a few pictures. Click! Click! Click!

The evening progressed into the temple with arati and bhajans. The temple was electric, especially as Shree Maa danced to the arati!

After arati and group bhajans, we devoured fantastic prasad as the family reconnected and several new people were given the opportunity to meet Shree Maa.

On Sunday morning, Shree Maa led the Chandi Path, but much of the attention went to the temple pitbull - Bhairav!

Bhairav was the first in line for prasad, then he ended being a lounge chair for several of the children who absolutely adore him. Bhairav's patience and tenderness is a sure sign that he is an old sage in the form of a pitbull!

And isn't this what family is about? Being together, leaning on each other, sharing love, and having steadfast patience. Thank you Bhairav for this teaching!

Shree Maa had such a great time this weekend that it is rumored that She may join us this coming Saturday. Stay tuned for the announcement.
