Ganapathy Puja: Online Every Sunday
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO SHINE
We are getting questions and prayer requests almost daily since the onset of COVID-19 virus and the resulting downturn of the economy.
Most of the questions are about how to live in the moment, how to be stable emotionally during this time, and what can be done to come out stronger than before.
Want to overcome all of these obstacles? Want to crush your fears and doubts? Want to help others to do the same?
Celebrating the Glory of Ganesha is the answer!
Join us online every Sunday at 1:00 pm for the Ganesha Puja. Chant the mantras right along with us and receive Lord Ganesha's blessings.
THE GLORY OF GANESHA
Ganesh puja is done mainly to remove obstacles. Many times obstacles that we face are inside of us in the form of deformed thinking, mind, intellect and cognitions.
These inner deformities are like demons that express as negative traits: excess desire, jealousy, pride, greed, hatred etc.
Once these internal demons go away, we become open to receive higher truths. With His blessings, the confusion and disillusionment is unraveled and good intellect, a sweet heart, and pure devotion is bestowed!
How do we get rid of these demons? By using sound as a tool. For example, we ring the bell at the beginning of the puja. The sound that the bell emanates is actually a form of Ganesha. Also, the Ganesha mantras are vibrations (sound) that attract His divine energy.
With puja, our mind and our heart become purified and very pleasant. Our human nature becomes stable.
Ganesha is the Lord of Muladhara Chakra which is the Root Chakra. It is this chakra that, when open, provides stability. Absolute stability is bestowed upon the devotee with Ganesha's blessings.
The stability of the root chakra is essential before we can receive the higher truths. From there all of the doors to the higher realities and mystical energies open up! Therefore, this is the first puja that is prescribed in our our eternal scriptures.
Think of it this way - worshiping Ganesha is like a key to the gate of a big bungalow with multiple mysterious chambers. Unless you are able to open the fence gate, you won't know what is inside!
Whoever prays to Ganesh, that devotee's heart, mind and intellect will blossom in beautiful way!
